Dactinomycin

It is a clear golden liquid that is injected into a vein.
Side Effects:
It burns if it leaks under the skin.
Nausea and Vomiting may occur after treatment and may last 24 hours.
Diarrhea may occur.
White blood cells will decrease 14 - 21 days after treatment. They will return
to normal 21 - 25 days after last treatment. White blood cells protect your
body by fighting bacteria that cause infection. When they are low, you are at
greater risk of having an infection.
Platelets may decrease 14 - 21 days after treatment. They will return to
normal 21 - 25 days after last treatment. Platelets help make your blood clot
when you hurt yourself. You may bruise or bleed more easily than usual.
Sore mouth may occur a few days after treatment. Mouth sores can occur on or under the tongue,
the sides of the mouth or in the throat. Mouth sores or bleeding gums can lead to
infection.
